In May 2012 we offer ten days of creative writing in the Andalucian province of
Granada, in the south of Spain.
We will work in two locations, in the outlying village of Alhama and in the city of Granada, where the Alhambra fort and palaces, the Generalife gardens, and the old Moorish quarter known as the Albaicín have all been declared world heritage sites by UNESCO.

Workshops are designed to capture
the traveler's special state of alertness and curiosity
and use it to heighten the learning experience. By
traveling beyond the familiar surroundings of home,
students can develop the habit of close observation
and the practice of a disciplined writing life.
